John’s construction career started at age 10 when he built a 17-unit apartment – a fort in the family barn made from pallets and scraps from nearby construction sites. He started roofing at age 19 and worked his way through to a BA in management from Spring Arbor College debt free.
For forty years he has worked with some of the finest residential and commercial firms in the country on over 700 projects grossing more than fifty-million dollars. In 2017 he launched Windfall Construction, a local family-owned business focused on delivering creative, beautiful, and affordable renovation solutions.
His true passion is storm damage restoration for clients when they are most vulnerable – a time of unexpected and often overwhelming loss. John’s team has perfected the art of maximizing storm claims, consistently achieving significantly higher payouts for their clients than initial adjuster estimates.
